 Had a decent night last night, from about 9:15 to 11pm, when the marine layer started to move in.  Had some moments of surprisingly good seeing.  When it looked like the fog would roll in I slewed down to look at Saturn, very bright and with more moons than I could see in the 6-inch, but surprisingly with similar amounts of detail -- go figure.

TDT 299 AB: 508; 667x: Very challenging.  Seeing became very good for this observation, good airy disks, and with averted vision a small condensation appeared within first diffraction ring, exceptionally close.  Seen well only with averted vision, there was just a slight brightening with direct.  Only one WDS observation.
