doubles in no particular order

Seeing etc. has been pretty good these last few nights so I've tried to go for some doubles from the Carro Catalog.  No particular order since it's a long list!

STF 1709: Nice! Brighter yellowish white A and 4 delta magnitude B, wide separation ~3" to west.
[7.88/10.01, 2.7", 252° 13H 02M 30.62S +23° 29' 57.8"]

STF 1406: Very tight, kissing when seeing stills, 1 delta mag. white
 [8.37/9.42, 0.8", 221° 10H 05M 38.57S +31° 05' 13.0"]

A 2142:
Very tight but clear split, ~1", 1 delta mag. A slightly green, B a little orange. [7.97/8.83, 1", 296°. 10H 05M 43.55S +41° 02' 42.7"]

BU 27: Light orange A and very faint bluish B, seen with averted vision at first then can hold direct. ~4" to west. Nice!
 [7.11/10.53, 3.6", 108° 12H 20M 04.86S +13° 51' 18.2"]

BU 800: Not difficult; orange-yellow A with bluish B, 3 delta mag. pretty wide to east.
 [AB 6.66/9.50, 7.8", 104.9°. AC and AD, much fainter, not observed. 13H 16M 51.05S +17° 01' 01.9"]

STF 1772: Bright white and 3-4 delta magnitude reddish B, 4-5" to SW.
[AB 5.76/9.60, 4.5", 133°. AC and AD not observed. 13H 40M 40.50S +19° 57' 20.4"]

HO 259: B is very faint, averted vision only, fairly wide sep. ~10-12" to west.

A 567: very faint B, very close, ~1" when seeing stills, 3-4 delta magnitude. Surprised it is not so difficult. B looks like it doesn't have any light of its own and is illuminated by A.
 [6.21/9.71, 1.4" 256°, 13H 32M 48.21S +24° 20' 48.3"]

STF 1405: Yellow-white A, fairly faint blue B wide separation.

STF 1420: Faint orange and 2 delta mag B ~2".
[9.12/10.62, 2.2", 319° 10H 18M 33.30S +39° 06' 37.9"]

HJ 2638: Very faint blue preceding a bright white.
[Multiple, 6 stars visible.  I saw A,BC as the others are 12-14th mag.  This one is worth going after again since BC is a Burnham find, BU 1083, 0.4" 11.70/12.00. Must've been on the 36-inch at Lick. Wow. A,BC: 13H 06M 10.29S +29° 01' 45.3" P.A. 223 SEP 6.2 MAG 7.48,11.1 SP A3IV DIST. 92.17 PC (300.66 L.Y.)]

STT 268: Very faint wide B, bluish.  Averted vision best, and with seeing.  I suspect it is a 4x multiple as there are other stars in the field.
[AB seen.  AC and AD are Wm Herschel finds, H5 70.  Ba,Bb is 1.3" but 13.00/13.10 -- maybe a good target for the 20-inch. Keep that in mind! AB: 13H 30M 52.21S +24° 14' 15.3" P.A. 78 SEP 19.1 MAG 7.67,13 SP G2III DIST. 60.75 PC (198.17 L.Y.)

PS. I discovered that if I just copy & paste the heading from the Stelle Doppie page I can capture all the data at once -- makes for a faster way to write the reports.  The order takes some getting used to, and it includes the spectral data -- relates to star color -- but since it's all there I'll continue using it.
