1 april 2021

Again with the subpar seeing, transparency a little off too.  The Argo continues to have pointing issues, so I'll have to redo the TPASS.  Frustrating, but still some good pairs seen:

STF1507 AB: 178; 205x: 2 delta mag, pretty wide.  Physical, unusual for one so wide.
11h 06m 07.42s +07° 02' 00.5" P.A. 165.00 sep 8.5 mag 8.80,10.23 Sp F8 dist. 109.29 pc (356.5 l.y.)

A 2564 AB: 178; 333x: Tough, with seeing, faint and hazy white stars, hairline split when they sharpen with seeing.  Suspected with 205x, 445x is too much power for the conditions.
10h 08m 16.54s +08° 01' 55.9" P.A. 285.00 sep 0.7 mag 9.84,9.97 Sp F8 dist. 311.53 pc (1016.21 l.y.)

GAN 5 AB: 178; 205x: Light orange star, I did not see B.  New designation, George Anderson, Born: Scotland, 1839.  He was the observing assistant to Asaph Hall, and was at the Observatory from 1870 to 1900.  Six discoveries to his name.
10h 07m 54.32s +09° 59' 51.6" P.A. 41.00 sep 8.0 mag 4.37,13.60 Sp K5III dist. 90.58 pc (295.47 l.y.)

STF1503 AB: 178; 205x: Double double with HJ 172.  Physical.
11h 02m 10.88s +09° 53' 42.6" P.A. 271.00 sep 11.6 mag 9.39,11.07 Sp F8Vn dist. 79.05 pc (257.86 l.y.)

HJ 172 AB: 178; 205x: Double-double with STF 1503.  I wonder how either observer could have missed the other pair, they're identical.  Physical.  Checking GAIA EDR3, I find the two A stars are not physical (different PM).
11h 02m 12.14s +09° 44' 59.8" P.A. 94.00 sep 13.6 mag 10.19,10.34 Sp K4/5+K5

STF1502 AB: 178; 205x: 1 delta mag, wide, white A and light blue B.  Physical
11h 02m 01.28s +14° 37' 14.7" P.A. 285.00 sep 12.9 mag 9.46,10.45 Sp G0

L 10 AB: 178; 205x: Unbelievably fine split with 205x!  Very small scale, the dim stars are small disks so the separation is clean.  Very slight magnitude difference, white stars,  really fine.  Higher magnification hazes the image too much.  T. Lewis of Greenwich Observatory.
10h 14m 33.75s +17° 53' 24.4" P.A. 352.00 sep 1.1 mag 10.02,10.47 Sp G0

WEI 26 AB: 178; 205x: Dual white stars, near equal, wide
11h 01m 12.86s +21° 05' 28.9" P.A. 174.00 sep 14.2 mag 9.50,9.96 Sp F5

STT 213 AB: 178; 333x: Very tough at this aperture, I suspected it at 205x but can more consistently see it with 333x.  A is a light orange star and B splits but is very tight, needed averted vision at first but it brightens and holds with foveal coaxing, but it s very faint indeed.  Physical with a 192-year period, it's now at apastron and will stay there a while.
10h 13m 08.88s +27° 25' 10.5" P.A. 120.20 sep 1.1 mag 8.62,9.83 Sp G5V dist. 71.79 pc (234.18 l.y.)
STF1521 AB: 178; 205x: White stars, 1 delta, well split
11h 15m 20.95s +27° 34' 15.6" P.A. 97.00 sep 3.8 mag 7.66,8.06 Sp A5 dist. 116.28 pc (379.31 l.y.)

STF 616 AB: 178; 205x: Most beautiful light blue A and light orange B, wide around 5", 3 delta mag.
04h 59m 15.41s +37° 53' 24.9" P.A. 5.00 sep 4.7 mag 5.00,8.21 Sp A1V dist. 52.27 pc (170.5 l.y.)
