It's been a busy last few days, so I've fallen behind on my log posting. Following are observations over three nights this week. Conditions were not as good as I would wish: seeing was never very good so I was masked to 7-inches the whole time. And there was always a marine haze to shroud the dimmer stars, made worse by a moon which was around full. In any case, I tried to make the most of it. There were always surprise and beautiful stars to look at, especially one night when there was a string of close Struves one after the other in Auriga, all along the same declination, like a Kemble's Cascade of doubles. (These are not sorted by time as my text editor is on the fritz)
